MEAT PIE

This is a dish I have made over and over successfully. It is a one-dish dinner. The slices cut nice and evenly and it is delicious. If you like meat and cheese, this is for you.

My daughter and her friends always requested this when they were in high school. So I took that as an acceptable sign. I even recently received a text from her high school friend, JoHelen, asking if I still made meat pie. It is the little things that make us happy!

I have made this in a 9x 13 dish and doubled the recipe. It was a hit at work when it was time to “bring a dish.” Adding a combination of cheddar and mozzarella is an option.

It can be reheated after being refrigerated with no problems. I prefer to reheat in the oven rather than the microwave. My personal preference.
